Set on Hamilton Island’s northern-most tip, qualia is the ideal place from which to discover the iconic beauty of the region, including Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef. Hamilton Island is bordered by coral and is part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. With 70 per cent of the island’s bushland safeguarded by national park status, Hamilton Island’s verdant interior is home to bushwalking trails leading to panoramic viewpoints, where spectacular vistas take in the Whitsunday Islands and Coral Sea.

There are sixty pavilions, including 26 north-facing Windward Pavilions, 33 south-west-facing Leeward Pavilions and one secluded Beach House. The resort has two infinity-edged pools, both presenting stunning views. The lap pool runs alongside the full length of the Long Pavilion, while the enormous square-shaped Pebble Beach pool is flanked by a row of cabanas and a large grassy area.

This calm hotel is best suited to couples and does not cater for children under the age of 16.
