Sail Ningaloo departs from Coral Bay, a 1-hour drive from Exmouth. Fly direct from Perth to Exmouth, and we will arrange ground transfers for you to Coral Bay.
Board late afternoon for a 4pm departure from Coral Bay. There is time for snorkel or dive near “Five Fingers Reef” before enjoying a sunset drink as Shore Thing sails to its overnight anchorage. Before the evening meal is served, have a go at fishing from the back deck, with the opportunity for a fresh-caught meal.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning snorkel at “The Stag Forest”, a beautiful coral garden with branching coral formations and home to many turtles. Enjoy morning tea while we set sail for our next snorkel spot, the “Sanctuary”, where we see reef sharks and turtles cruising and large rays resting as we snorkel along sandy underwater pathways fringed by hard coral outcrops rising to the ocean surface. There is a gourmet lunch onboard and then you’re free to relax on deck or soak in Ningaloo’s clear waters. The day ends with another snorkel before a two course dinner with your new-found friends.
After breakfast enjoy a leisurely kayaking trip along a secluded section of coastline to Pelican Point, with Mantarays regular sightings along with turtles who feed in the shallow waters. Based on the day’s conditions, your guides will select the best snorkel and dive sites for the day. You’ll likely spot dugongs and dolphins as we travel to the evening’s anchorage at Point Maud. Humpback Whales migrate along the coast here from June to October, so if you’re lucky today will also involve some whale sightings.
This morning there is more snorkelling and stunning marine life on secret Ningaloo Reef spots as we make our way back towards Coral Bay. There is a large resident manta ray population which you’ll have an opportunity to swim with today after learning more about their unique biology and behaviour from the onboard guide. Enjoy lunch onboard and one last snorkel or dive at “Asho’s Gap”, where you’ll see reef sharks swimming in a large cabbage coral formation with their mouths open whilst small cleaner fish dart in and out to clean their mouths and gills. A unique site to end your Ningaloo reef cruise. Arrive back to Coral Bay to disembark at 12.30pm, in time to catch the late afternoon flights out of Exmouth.
