Camel Beach House
Camel Beach House was architecturally designed with consideration for the Wild West SA coast. The owner’s dwelling concept was to create a modern rustic space with an ecologically small footprint. The house is inspired by the simplicity of the classic west coast fisherman's caravan or shack and reflects rugged minimalism. Nestled steps away from Camel Beach's entire space were designed to encounter the wild Southern Ocean. The exterior material choice of ochre corten-steel cladding beautifully reflects its exchange with nature as it changes colour with seasons.
